Paintsville-Prestonsburg Combs Field is a publicly owned, private-use airport located four nautical miles southeast of the central business district of Paintsville, in Johnson County, Kentucky, United States. It is owned by the Paintsville-Prestonsburg Air Board. The airport officially opened on August 1, 1964. Johnson County is also serviced by the Big Sandy Regional Airport, it is a public use airport in southwest Martin County, Kentucky.
Johnson County is currently undergoing a strategic planning process to pinpoint goals for the development of the county.
